  • client purchased a greenfield site which had the benefit of an outline planning permission for self-build residential units
  • Self-build units are different as they cannot be built out and sold on by the developer. We worked with the client’s planning consultant to devise a strategy whereby our client could stay within the statutory requirements for “self-build/custom build” by developing a palette of options for each plot buyer thus retaining their status as self-build/custom build units
