Russell-Cooke’s Nimmisha Aslam wins Claimant Lawyer of the Year at the Personal Injury Awards 2025
Russell-Cooke is delighted to announce that Nimmisha Aslam, a senior associate in our personal injury and medical negligence team, has been named Claimant Lawyer of the Year at the 2025 Personal Injury Awards.
Nimmisha was recognised for her exceptional work securing life-changing outcomes for clients, including leading 34 Grenfell Tower claims involving numerous international defendants and extensive multi-firm collaboration. She has also achieved significant results in catastrophic injury, fatal accident and clinical negligence cases, and is widely regarded for her empathy, calmness in crisis and commitment to client care. Her broader contribution to the profession and community, including her role as a trustee of South West London Law Centres and her mentoring and pro bono work, further strengthened her nomination.
The judging panel said: “this year’s winner stood out for their expertise in high-profile cases, national recognition and consistent delivery of positive outcomes for clients and the wider community.”
Earlier this year she was also named in The Lawyer Hot 100 2025.
