Law firm Russell-Cooke has welcomed five newly-qualified solicitors to the practice. They have been given permanent positions with the firm as associates following the successful completion of their two year training contract.

On the commercial side of the practice, Emily Joss and Ed Patton qualify into the commercial litigation team and Jonathan Gorman starts as a new associate in insolvency and Ellie Miles into personal injury and clinical negligence.

Graduate recruitment partner Rebecca Fisher said: "It has been a very challenging 18 months for many but particularly for our trainees who have undertaken much of their training contract remotely. Emily, Ed, Abby, Jonathan and Ellie have remained enthusiastic and dedicated throughout. The firm committed to offering them the very best training even in the most difficult of circumstances. I am therefore delighted that we have been able to offer all our trainees roles on qualification and that they are able to embark on the next stage of their career with Russell-Cooke. It is very well deserved and we wish them every success for the future.”

The training contract at Russell-Cooke consists of four seats of six months each spread across at least two of the firm’s three offices. The firm takes on 10-12 trainees each year.

The firm has also welcomed 10 new trainees this week.
