Charities and social businesses regularly work in partnership with other organisations, from one-off events to long-standing arrangements with public sector and commercial parties. Whatever form it takes, partnership working can be extremely beneficial to the charities involved and to society more generally. But it can also lead to complications, particularly if the parties pass over important legal issues at the outset.
Carla Whalen and Andrew Studd from our charity and social business team will share their experiences and recommendations for effective partnership working, with a focus on:
- governance structures
- intellectual property
- data protection
