About Lucy
Having worked closely with insolvency practitioners, I bring a practical and commercially minded perspective to every matter. I take pride in helping clients understand complex issues and providing clear, straightforward advice when they need it most.
Lucy is a legal assistant in the restructuring and insolvency team. She works on a broad range of corporate and personal insolvency matters.
Prior to joining Russell-Cooke in December 2025, she managed a busy portfolio of insolvency appointments at a leading international insolvency and restructuring practice.
Lucy volunteers pro bono with the Free Representation Unit, advising and representing clients before the Social Security Tribunal. She also sits as an independent adjudicator on School Appeals Panels for the London Boroughs of Richmond and Wandsworth.
She is fluent in Mandarin Chinese and German, and business proficient in French.
Experience
- Administration of Wicked Vision Limited, including work on the Supreme Court appeal in Rice v Wicked Vision Limited [2026].
- Liquidation of a LSE-listed PLC with assets in Singapore, Australia, New Zealand and the US, involving litigation funding issues and simultaneous asset recovery proceedings across multiple jurisdictions.
- Pre‑pack administration of a c. £20 million-turnover property services firm with significant WIP, requiring significant engagement with prospective purchaser to stabilise cashflow and preserve business continuity.
- Liquidation of a communications/PR agency with a substantial overseas debtor ledger, requiring communications with high-profile debtors and their legal representatives across multiple jurisdictions.
- Liquidation of a property investment firm following a shareholder dispute and involving interconnected personal insolvency proceedings.
- Liquidation of an agri-tech start-up involving complex earn-out arrangements and cross-border trading.
