About Lucy
Having worked directly with insolvency practitioners, I bring a practical, solution-focused approach to every matter. I understand how insolvency claims are built from the ground up and enjoy giving clients clarity and reassurance in difficult situations.
Lucy is a legal assistant in the restructuring and insolvency team. She works on a broad range of corporate and personal insolvency matters.
Prior to joining Russell-Cooke in December 2025, she managed a busy portfolio of insolvency appointments at a leading international insolvency and restructuring practice. Her experience includes:
- liquidation of an agri-tech start-up involving complex earn-out arrangements and cross-border trading
- administration of a leisure goods retailer involving significant appellate litigation, including supporting Counsel with evidence collation and bundle preparation
- liquidation of a communications/PR business with a substantial overseas debtor ledger, requiring communications with debtors across multiple jurisdictions
- liquidation of a publicly listed parent company with complex multinational group structure, involving litigation funding issues and simultaneous asset recovery proceedings in multiple jurisdictions
- pre-pack administration of a property services company with significant work-in-progress, requiring intensive initial engagement with the purchaser to safeguard cashflow and preserve business continuity
- liquidation of an investment firm involving a shareholder dispute, interconnected personal insolvency proceedings, and high-volume hostile correspondence from stakeholders
Lucy volunteers pro bono with the Free Representation Unit, advising and representing clients before the Social Security Tribunal. She also sits as an independent adjudicator on School Appeals Panels for the London Boroughs of Richmond and Wandsworth.
