About Omisha
It is a privilege to help families secure the right support for their child's needs. Having worked in private education, I have seen how hard parents and carers work to get their children the help they need, which is why I am passionate about advocating for children and empowering parents.
Omisha specialises in supporting families secure the education, health and social care provision their child needs. She has experience navigating special educational needs (SEN) appeals, disability discrimination claims, judicial review, school admission appeals, exclusion appeals, complaints to schools, local authorities and regulators, as well as school transport.
Prior to joining the firm, Omisha gained experience across a wide range of children matters, including child protection and care. She also brings experience from education management, where she supported pupils' learning needs and helped secure their admission to highly selective senior schools across London.
Omisha has a particular focus on child safeguarding and addressing the barriers that children and young people can face in school, especially those with special educational needs. Through significant prior experience working directly with parents, she understands the demands placed on parents and carers in navigating the SEN system. She is committed to helping families secure the right provision, ensuring every child is safe, supported, and able to thrive in education.
She is fluent in Hindi and business proficient in French.
