About Sam
I advise a wide range of charities and not-for-profits on employment and people issues. I consider myself fortunate to be involved in the third sector and I value supporting organisations through complex issues with clear, pragmatic advice.
Sam advises charities and not for profits on a wide range of people and employment law matters. His work covers issues relating to employees, senior executives, trustees, volunteers and beneficiaries, with a particular focus on the legal and governance considerations unique to the third sector.
Sam specialises in complex people issues, including grievances, redundancies, Employment Tribunal disputes and safeguarding concerns. He takes pride in helping organisations navigate a challenging third sector landscape effectively and in a way which aligns with their strategic objectives.
Before specialising in the charity sector, Sam qualified as an employment solicitor at a leading international law firm in September 2022 and joined Russell-Cooke’s charity law and not for profit team in June 2024.
