About Sharon

Sharon is a bilingual French-qualified avocat and is part of the private client team. She advises clients on a broad range of French succession and property law matters, including French estate planning, estate administration, French will drafting and the sale and purchase of French property.

Sharon also advises on contentious French property issues, ownership structures, gifting and the transfer of French property following divorce. She works closely with colleagues across the firm on cross-border matters involving both French and English legal considerations.

Before joining Russell-Cooke, Sharon gained several years’ post-qualification experience in France, where she practised primarily in litigation for an international client base before the French courts of first instance and on appeal. She also worked at a firm in the South East of England. Her experience spans property, family, succession, commercial and criminal law matters.

Sharon previously managed her own law practice and worked closely with consulates and embassies in Bordeaux and Paris. Alongside her practice, she has also lectured part-time in contract law at the University of Bordeaux.
