Russell-Cooke’s family team has been shortlisted for the Family Law Team of the Year Award in the Chambers High Net Worth Awards 2022.

The family team is ranked in Chambers High Net Worth in Family/Matrimonial: High Net Worth 2021 with partners James Carroll, Kate Hamilton and Fiona Read ranked as leading individuals. James Carroll is also ranked in the Family/Matrimonial: Mediators table.
The team advises on a range of matters, from divorce and separation, adoption and surrogacy to family wealth management /family businesses. It is a pivotal part of the firm’s Family Office service and has advised on relationship planning for wealthy families, pre-nuptial agreements, family charters, passing wealth to children, and separation and divorce working alongside colleagues from across the firm.
Simon Christian, Global Research Editor of Chambers High Net Worth says: “The rankings and the shortlist are the result of extensive research and thousands of interviews conducted by our dedicated team of over 200 analysts. To be shortlisted at the Chambers High Net Worth Awards means that you are at the pinnacle of the profession. Congratulations.”
Joint Managing Partner James Carroll says: “Hearing that we have been shortlisted for this award is absolutely wonderful news. We work incredibly hard to keep our cases out of the headlines, which is what our clients, want. We are always resolution-focused. This does mean we often work under the radar and my wonderful colleagues don’t always get the attention they deserve.
“Being shortlisted due to positive feedback from our clients and peers is well-deserved recognition for the whole team. I also think it demonstrates that our increasing focus at Russell-Cooke on ‘family law,’ defined as what affects families on a wider basis, is paying dividends for our clients and for us. Well done and thank you to the whole team and congrats to the other nominees – we are looking forward to celebrating with you at the ceremony!”
The winning team will be announced on 21 July 2022 at an awards ceremony at The Science Museum in London.
