Isabella acts for both employers and employees across financial services, media, retail and sport sectors. She advises on all aspects of employment law including drafting and advising on settlement agreements; contracts of employment and service agreements; grievances and disciplinary matters; and staff handbooks and workplace policies. Isabella has a particular focus on restructuring and redundancies, TUPE transfers and corporate support work, in addition to restrictive covenants.  

Alongside her employer advisory work, Isabella advises senior executives and employees on contractual issues, settlement agreements, restrictive covenants, bonus and incentive disputes, and negotiating favourable settlement payments for employees. She also assists with employment disputes including Employment Tribunal claims.

Isabella is known for her direct approach, attention to detail and has a strong understanding of the practical and commercial realities faced by employers and individuals at senior level.

Isabella joined Russell-Cooke’s employment team in March 2025 having previously completed her training contract at a regional law firm.  

• Acting for former employee of a data and analytics firm in the energy and natural resources industry in successfully preventing litigation for alleged breach of restrictive covenants

• Providing employment advice on a complex, cross-border sale of a design business 
• Advising a startup software company in the oil and gas industry as well as a golf club on UK employment law obligations, including drafting employment contracts 
• Advising on redundancy including selection, consultation and reputational and litigation risk for mid-sized property organisation
