Russell-Cooke advises on sale of UK industrial extraction business to Swedish technology group Amplex Indu AB
Russell-Cooke has advised on the sale of Airbench LTD, a UK-based business specialising in the design, manufacture, sale and servicing of dust, fume and mist extraction systems and related equipment for industrial applications, to Swedish company Amplex Indu AB.
Amplex Indu AB is a privately owned corporate group that acquires, owns and develops technology-based businesses across well-defined industrial niches. The group comprises approximately 30 operating companies, primarily active in lifting and materials handling, workplace safety and lighting.
The transaction, which completed on 2 March 2026, represents a cross-border deal, highlighting the continued appeal of innovative UK engineering businesses to international acquirers.
Russell-Cooke’s corporate and commercial team advised the seller on all aspects of the transaction. The deal was led by partner Peter Jeffery with assistance from partner Thomas Clark, associate Hayleigh Southgate, and legal assistant Oliver Ward.
