About Jason
I have worked within clinical negligence and personal injury since 2011 and am passionate about advising vulnerable clients. I work with clients to help them understand the more complex aspects of making a claim and to achieve a successful outcome.
Jason specialises in all aspects of medical negligence and personal injury claims. He deals with numerous cases including birth injuries, delays in diagnosis, fatal claims, amputations, and patient falls and fractures.
Jason has experience in representing families at inquests and obtaining relevant funding arrangements such as legal aid. He is known for his friendly and approachable manner, focused on clients.
Jason volunteers and helps organise numerous charitable events and also participates in pro bono activities and advises in various Citizens Advice Bureaus.
In 2025 Jason ran and settled one of the first known “baby switch” cases in the UK. This case was widely reported across the news, radio and podcast outlets, and Jason was interviewed on BBC West Midlands Radio. He also featured as the Times Lawyer of the Week and has since taken on other similar cases.
Jason qualified in 2017 and joined Russell-Cooke in 2022.
Jason, the sensitivity you have shown throughout has been so more than we could have expected. During a stressful and emotional time your patience and clear, honest communication was hugely appreciated.
Experience

Assisted and worked on several multi-million-pound claims that have settled for £30-40 million+.• Settling one of the first ever ‘switched at birth’ cases in the UK.• Securing a £108,000 settlement for a cosmetic surgery medical negligence claim.• Negotiated an £150,000 out-of-court settlement in a personal injury claim against Network Rail.• Achieving a £115,000 settlement for a road traffic collision with a cyclist.
I’d like to thank you and the team for all your work and expertise getting a successful outcome. I always found your advice super clear, calm and plain English which was extremely helpful given this being a complex and emotional process with expectations to manage.
