AULP Annual Conference 2026

We are proud to sponsor the AULP Annual Conference 2026, taking place on 18–19 June 2026 at the historic University of St Andrews.

This year marks a milestone for AULP, with its first conference held outside England, and an ambitious theme to match: Beyond Borders.

What to expect

Over the course of the conference, attendees will benefit from a varied programme aligned closely with the Beyond Borders theme, including:

  • Keynote sessions exploring emerging sector-wide challenges
  • Panel discussions on cross‑institutional collaboration and the evolving role of university legal teams
  • Practical workshops designed to support day‑to‑day legal practice
  • Networking opportunities with colleagues from across the UK higher education legal community

The programme will also feature Richard Wilkins, Legal Director at Russell‑Cooke, who will lead Legal Session 6C: Student Misconduct: The “Accused” – Understanding Their Concerns and Avoiding Common Pitfalls.

A welcome event will also take place on the evening of 17 June, offering an early opportunity to connect with peers ahead of the main programme.

Further details on speakers and sessions will be released shortly.
