In conversation with the Fundraising Regulator: what charities need to know about the new Code of Fundraising Practice

Fundraising in today’s turbulent environment is more challenging than ever. The landscape is shifting and competition for already scarce resources has intensified. Not-for-profits are navigating an increasingly complex environment with traditional sources of income — from government grants to individual giving — coming under increased pressure.

In this seminar, Pippa Garland, charity partner at Russell-Cooke, will be joined by Gerald Oppenheim (chief executive) and Paul Winyard (head of policy) from the Fundraising Regulator to discuss the new Code of Fundraising Practice and the changes expected in 2025 and beyond.

The speakers will cover:

  • the key changes in the new Code of Fundraising Practice
  • how charities can adapt to evolving regulatory and fundraising landscapes
  • challenges facing the sector such as withdrawal of USAID support, cuts to overseas aid budget and sharp decline in public donations
  • what charities can do to engage supporters and manage risk

Please register before 12:00pm on 5 June 2025.
