Associate Lui Asquith joined an AbilityNet webinar on testing and standards under the European Accessibility Act (EAA). The webinar is the second in a three-part series.
The webinar covered how to test for EAA compliance, the relevant standards such as EN 301549 and the relationship with WCAG 2.1 and 2.2. Lui highlighted the need for clear, consistent testing to meet evolving legal requirements, also underlining the importance of documenting test results to demonstrate compliance with the EAA.
The standard is a living document; it is subject to change, and businesses must keep up to date with those changes to ensure ongoing compliance.
