About Lui
I’m deeply committed to my work, my clients’ needs and to the interests of justice. I enjoy something novel landing on my desk and am ready to think originally. I’m tenacious, hard-working and love my job.
Lui advises both claimants and defendants on all aspects of public law and regulatory matters, with a focus on judicial review.
They have a particular interest in public interest litigation and act in a variety of sensitive and complex cases, with particular interest and specialism in human rights law, government policy related challenge and discrimination claims. Lui has advised and acted for individuals, charities and other civil liberties organisations. They are also happy to consider acting on a crowdfunded or pro bono basis should a case be one that holds a clear public benefit. This will always be subject to a legal merit review.
Lui assists on an array of regulatory law cases and acts for both regulators and those regulated within one of the leading teams in the UK. They also advise on charity disputes and work closely with the charity team in this regard, to ensure that when disputes arise, we can offer clients a full service in respect of governance and litigation issues as and when they arise.
Lui qualified in 2016 and joined Russell-Cooke in 2022 after working in the non-profit sector for four years as a director of law and policy at a national charity.
