Russell-Cooke shortlisted for Law Firm of the Year at the 2026 LexisNexis Legal Awards
Russell-Cooke has been shortlisted for Law Firm of the Year at the LexisNexis Legal Awards 2026, recognising the firm’s excellence in client service, legal expertise and impactful practice across the profession.
John Gould, Chair and partner in the firm’s regulation and public law team, has also been named a finalist for the Halsbury Rule of Law Award.
The shortlisting comes during a year of strong recognition for the firm and its leadership, including being named Law Firm of the Year: The Independents at The Lawyer Awards, winning Outstanding Corporate Culture at the British Legal Awards, and securing top-tier rankings across leading legal directories.
John is widely esteemed for his expertise in regulation and public law, advising regulators, government bodies and public interest clients on complex regulatory challenges and public law matters. He was awarded a Lifetime Achievement Award at the 2024 British Legal Awards for his contribution to the legal profession and his decades-long leadership of the firm.
