Joanna joined Russell-Cooke in 2025. 
 
She advises on the full spectrum of development work involving residential, commercial and mixed-use schemes as well as advising on consortium and strategic land.
 
Joanna works with both developers, including major housebuilders, and landowners. She has experience of advising on a wide variety of transaction types ranging from affordable housing agreements, to joint ventures, to sale and leaseback projects. She supports clients on all planning issues across the development lifecycle; including the due diligence and review of planning aspects, negotiating planning and infrastructure agreements, advising on affordable housing and viability, CIL, planning strategy, planning conditions and supporting clients in planning appeals and inquiries.
