Russell-Cooke’s corporate and commercial team advised Viritech on its latest investment round, which raised over £1 million from various investors including Arosa Ventures and Energy Revolution Ventures.

The Russell-Cooke team was led by partners Guy Wilmot and David Webster, assisted by associate Lucille Moala.

Viritech was founded in 2020 and is an engineering firm developing hydrogen fuel cell technology for use in various transport related applications. Earlier this year Viritech launched their Apricale Hypercar at the Goodwood Festival of Speed 2022.

The investment will help Viritech continue its important research into – and development of – this cutting-edge technology, which uses the most naturally abundant element in the world.

David Webster said: “We are delighted to have been able to assist Viritech in securing this strategically important investment, continuing our longstanding relationship with the business. Hydrogen based fuel solutions will play a vital part in making transport a more environmentally sustainable proposition and Viritech are at the forefront of developing the technology to facilitate this. It’s an exciting time to be involved with the company”.
