Russell-Cooke is pleased to announce the promotion of Clare Garbett and Andrew Morgan to legal director in the charity law and not for profit, and trust and estate dispute teams, respectively.
These appointments reflect the firm’s continued investment in strengthening key service lines and recognising the exceptional talent within its teams.
The new legal directors are:
Clare Garbett: charity law and not for profit
Clare is in the firm’s charity team, specialising in property matters for charities, social businesses and other not-for-profit organisations. She advises on a wide range of issues including acquisitions and disposals, leases, title issues and disputes. She has particular expertise in handling complex and bespoke property matters across the charity sector, including projects involving heritage assets and community spaces. She trained at Russell-Cooke and qualified in 2014, and is known for her proactive, solution-focused approach to helping clients achieve their objectives.
Andrew Morgan: trusts and estate disputes
Andrew specialises in trust and estate disputes, advising on matters spanning will challenges, Inheritance Act claims and trust litigation. Andrew trained at Russell-Cooke and qualified in 2016. He has particular expertise in handling complex, multi-faceted litigation and is known for his detail-orientated approach and commitment to clear, accessible advice.
We are delighted to recognise Clare and Andrew on their well-deserved promotions to legal director. Both play an integral role in their respective teams and have contributed significantly to the strength and success of our key service lines. They have each demonstrated outstanding technical expertise alongside excellent mentoring and leadership capabilities.
