Russell-Cooke has a substantial commercial litigation and dispute resolution team consisting of about twenty specialist lawyers.

Our clients are companies, partnerships and LLPs and public organisations. Some of our clients have a very sophisticated approach to disputes others have not been involved in any form of business dispute before.

Disputes for businesses of any type can be an expensive distraction. They can be costly in both money and management time.

It is key to the service we provide that we gain an understanding of our clients' commercial needs and objectives so that we can tailor our advice and our service to the size and complexity of the problem.

Our clients can have confidence that their dispute is handled by an appropriate specialist in the relevant field with the involvement of experienced partners.

We use that expertise across a breadth of areas to help our clients maximise the opportunities to avoid a dispute or negotiate a successful resolution at an early stage in a cost effective and commercial way. If that is not possible we have the resources necessary to handle the largest specialist cases.

We draw on the expertise in other areas of the firm in appropriate cases to ensure that our clients have the best possible support.

We recognise the importance of cost effective dispute resolution. For many of our clients the cost benefit of any particular course of action is the key determining factor in what action they will take. We provide the best possible estimates of the likely costs to help in that decision making.

Our team is able to provide advice on resolving a broad range of disputes, whether by litigation, arbitration, adjudication, negotiation or some form of ADR including mediation.
