January saw PropSki return to the slopes of Val Thorens, delivering once again on everything that makes this event so special: action packed days of skiing, the chance to forge meaningful connections, and a shared commitment to giving back. This year, Russell-Cooke was proud to be represented by its real estate, planning, construction team, including associates Nick Manning, Brooke Clark and Roshni Pankhania, who attended alongside partners Pippa Beesley and Katie Cooper. They made the most of both the slopes and opportunity to engage with peers from across the industry.

For Russell-Cooke, this year marked our 12th year attending PropSki and our third consecutive year as headline sponsor.

A community on (and off) the slopes

PropSki is far more than a ski trip; it is a community of like-minded people from across the property sector who come together each year to connect, collaborate and build relationships that extend well beyond the mountains.

Roshni took full advantage of the morning ski lessons, bonding with fellow first timers over wobbly legs and frequent encounters with the snow (sometimes with their faces!) Despite a few spectacular falls, she bravely tackled her first green runs, which were terrifying and wildly fun - and made even better by meeting so many great people who were all learning (and falling) together! The rest of the Russell-Cooke team joined the morning 'meet and ski' each day at La Maison where they gathered with fellow skiers and headed out to explore the slopes together.

The Alpine Banquet and business development

One of the highlights of PropSki 2026 was the Russell-Cooke Big PropSki Alpine Banquet which brought together over 650 delegates from across the sector in one room. Squash Falconer gave a presentation about being the first British woman to paraglide off Mont Blanc, offering a powerful and inspiring perspective on courage, preparation and resilience.

It was also a night that had real charitable impact; thanks to the generosity of the PropSki attendees, the evening raised an incredible £35,652 for The Elifar Foundation and Protect Our Winters UK, both charities that carry out vital work. The Elifar Foundation aims to improve the care, facilities and equipment available to disabled children and young adults, and Protect Our Winters UK is a climate action charity that rallies the outdoor community to lead meaningful climate action.

It is clear why so many people return to PropSki year after year. From first-time skiers finding their feet to seasoned attendees carving familiar runs, PropSki continues to be a place where relationships are strengthened, ideas are shared, and memories are made.

Last reflections

Propski really proved that it doesn't matter whether you’re confident on black runs or cautiously celebrating your first (questionable) green run - the experience is what counts. We’re already looking forward to catching up with connections back in London and to getting back on the slopes in 2027.
