Russell-Cooke advises the shareholders of Simpson Associates on their investment from Beech Tree Private Equity
Russell-Cooke has advised the shareholders of Simpson Associates, a leading UK-based Microsoft data transformation partner, on their investment from Beech Tree Private Equity.
Simpson Associates helps organisations across regulated industries, including policing, healthcare, financial services and education design, build and run secure and scalable data and AI platforms. Beech Tree is a private equity investor that partners with growth-focused businesses in the technology and services sectors.
The investment, which completed on 17 October 2025, involved providing additional funding and support to accelerate organic growth, broaden service capabilities in emerging technologies such as agentic AI, expand their sector specific offerings and products, and pursue strategic acquisitions to complement and scale the business’s offering.
Russell-Cooke’s corporate and commercial team advised on all aspects of the investment. Partners Peter Jeffery and Thomas Clark led Russell-Cooke’s advice, supported by partner Guy Wilmot, tax partner Conor Brindley, senior associate Anna West and legal assistant Oliver Ward.
