Oliver assists the corporate and commercial department on a variety of matters, including acquisitions and disposals; group restructuring and reorganisations; shareholder agreements; employee share schemes, including EMI options; and corporate governance matters.
He predominately works with businesses in the technology sector, working with numerous MSP and business application solutions clients.
Oliver joined Russell-Cooke in 2023 as a legal assistant in the corporate and commercial team.
Experience
- Assisting with the disposal of an MSP (with reinvestment by management team) for circa £30m
- Sale of a business applications solutions and MSP for circa £10m
- Acquisition of a laundry manufacturer out of insolvency
- Reorganisation of a property management business
- Assisting with the disposal of an autonomous marine sector for circa £8m
- Various EMI option schemes, shareholders agreements and similar work
Education
- Read Law at the University of Exeter, graduating with First-Class Honours and was awarded the Deans Commendation in 2021 and 2022
- Achieved a Distinction in the LPC LLM at the University of Law in Guildford
