Oliver assists the corporate and commercial department on a variety of matters, including acquisitions and disposals; group restructuring and reorganisations; shareholder agreements; employee share schemes, including EMI options; and corporate governance matters.
He predominately works with businesses in the technology sector, working with numerous MSP and business application solutions clients.
Oliver joined Russell-Cooke in 2023 as a legal assistant in the corporate and commercial team.
Experience

Assisted Alissa Healthcare Research Limited on its transition to employee ownership through an Employee Ownership Trust (EOT), successfully completing the transaction ahead of the 2025 Budget changes to the EOT tax regime and helping the business maximise the benefits of employee ownership. Assisted the shareholders of Airbench Ltd, a specialist manufacturer of industrial dust, fume and mist extraction systems, on the cross-border sale of the business to Swedish technology group Amplex Indu AB.
Assisted the shareholders of Simpson Associates, a leading Microsoft data transformation partner, on a strategic investment from Beech Tree Private Equity, helping secure funding to accelerate growth, broaden service capabilities and pursue strategic direction.
Assisted on the completion of more than £55 million of transactions in the week preceding the Autumn Budget 2024, helping clients across the technology, logistics, hospitality and healthcare sectors complete deals within compressed timeframes ahead of anticipated tax changes.
