Russell-Cooke welcomes seven newly-qualified lawyers

Andrew Debrah qualified into personal injury and clinical negligence through the Qualifying Work Experience route in July 2026. He graduated from the University of Surrey with an LLB Law degree and completed the SQE. Before his legal training, Andrew gained experience as a civil servant in the Department for Work and Pensions.

"My QWE provided exposure to a broad range of matters, allowing me to work on high-quality cases, take on meaningful responsibility and develop my legal skills across different areas of practice."

Aidan Chan studied law at Warwick University before completing the LPC with a Masters in business at the University of Law. He completed seats in charity law and not for profit, property litigation, private client, and family.

“I have fully enjoyed my two years training here having been given significant responsibility and opportunities to work on a wide range of interesting matters. I am very grateful to be able to work with many top lawyers who are so generous with their time, and look forward to continue working with everyone at the firm as I continue my own development.”

Helena Macpherson studied politics and criminology, followed by the GDL and LPC. Before starting her training contract, she worked at a children’s summer camp in Connecticut in the US. She completed seats in private client, real estate, family and children.

Holly Robinson studied history at Oxford University. Prior to starting her training contract, she spent a year in France to improve her language skills, working at an advanced language school. Holly undertook seats in property litigation, private client, dispute resolution and corporate & commercial.

"The breadth of experience and level of responsibility I gained during my training contract, along with opportunities to get involved in the wider firm and business development initiatives, provided a strong foundation for qualification. I am thrilled to be joining such a supportive and dynamic team in corporate and commercial."

Kerrina Gray previously worked in journalism, then a legal team at a charity for deaf children, before studying law. She completed seats in insolvency, enfranchisement, education and personal injury & medical negligence.

Mollie Evans studied history, which included a year abroad in Hong Kong. She worked as a commercial litigation paralegal at two international law firms before starting her training contract. She Mollie completed seats in trust and estate disputes, real estate, family and private client.

"My training contract offered a broad range of experience, and the support of supervisors and colleagues, alongside the camaraderie of a close-knit trainee cohort, made it a hugely enjoyable two years."

Tom Cunild gained experience working as a sports journalist and translator before transitioning into a career in law. He studied Spanish, Portuguese & Latin American studies before completing the LPC at the University of Law. He undertook seats in private client, property litigation, family and immigration & employment.
