
Russell-Cooke promotes seven to senior associate
Today Russell-Cooke announces seven senior associate promotions with effect from 1 July 2025.
The new associates hail from real estate, property law and conveyancing and property litigation, with the remainder within the family law and personal injury and clinical negligence practices.
The new senior associates will be:

Joe Maloney: real estate, planning and construction
Joe has a breadth of experience dealing with investment and development acquisitions and disposals, property management & real estate finance; acting for a variety of clients including developers, high net worth individuals, Real Estate Investment Trusts (REITs) and other investors, tenants and landlords.
Joe’s experience spans a number of sectors including industrial, office, retail, and hospitality. Joe also has experience dealing with residential and mixed-use developments.

Chloe Nixon: real estate, planning and construction
Chloe advises a variety of clients, ranging from retail tenants to developers and commercial landlords based in the UK and abroad, on all aspects of real estate law including commercial lease transactions, acquisitions and disposals and real estate finance.

Signe Sparne: real estate, planning and construction
Signe has extensive experience advising on a wide range of commercial property transactions, including landlord and tenant matters, property development, investment acquisitions, and disposals. She has acted for a diverse client base, including institutional investors, charities, high street retailers, corporate occupiers, and lenders across the industrial, office, retail, and hospitality sectors.

Harriet Collins: family and children
Harriet advises clients on a broad range of family matters. This includes assisting clients who are going through a divorce or separation and require advice in relation to financial settlements and/or arrangements for children. Harriet’s work often involves matters with an international element or complex financial structures. She also has a particular interest in advising clients at the start of their relationship in relation to pre or post-nuptial agreements.

Bryony Shawe: property law and conveyancing
Bryony is a conveyancing lawyer in the property law and conveyancing team in our Central London Bedford Row office. She has considerable experience in the purchases and sales of high value residential freehold and leasehold properties, including country homes and estates. Bryony has acted for a range of high-net-worth individuals including high-profile figures from the world of film, television, music and sport. She also acts for clients purchasing or selling property using a special purchase vehicle (SPV) incorporated in the UK or abroad.
Bryony works with a curated network of Buying Agents, Estate Agents and property experts including surveyors, banks, financial advisors, property managers, SDLT lawyers and interior designers.

Kelly advises on a wide range of contentious property issues for a diverse client base which includes companies, high net value individuals and build-to-rent (BTR) sector landlords. Kelly has a particular specialism in high value residential real property disputes, advising on disputes relating to easements, restrictive covenants and boundaries. She has extensive experience advising and acting for landlords in the BTR sector, which includes acting in relation to any property disputes which arise and working with them to develop their standard documentation and procedures. She also advises and acts for clients in relation to agricultural disputes and property disputes under the Trusts of Land and Appointment of Trustees Act 1996 (TOLATA.)

Amy Anderson: personal injury and clinical negligence
Amy acts for clients bringing civil claims for compensation following medical negligence and accidents. She regularly deals with claims against hospital trusts, private clinicians and GPs arising from delays in diagnosis, failures to treat and surgical negligence. She has a special interest in claims arising from birth injuries and birth trauma. In her personal injury practice, Amy acts for clients who have been involved in catastrophic road traffic accidents, as well as claimants who have been injured on holiday or in the workplace. She frequently acts in fatal claims arising from deaths and has represented clients in inquest proceedings.
