The Russell-Cooke Silicon Cup Regatta returns for 2026
The Russell-Cooke Silicon Cup Regatta returns this September for two days of competitive sailing, networking and fundraising. Taking place on 15-16 September 2026, the event will once again bring together professionals from across the technology sector.
Russell-Cooke continues as principal sponsor of the event for the fourth consecutive year. The Silicon Cup is the UK's leading charity networking event on water for the tech industry and, since its inception in 2000, has welcomed more than 7000 participants and raised over £1 million for charitable causes across the UK.
The regatta will raise funds for four charity partners: The Genie's Wish, The Andrew Simpson Foundation, the Greig City Academy Sailing Programme and The Final Straw Foundation.
The event provides a unique opportunity for businesses to strengthen existing relationships, make new connections and enjoy friendly competition on the water, alongside a programme of social and fundraising activities. Highlights include a gala dinner, charity auction and prize-giving event.
Members of Russell-Cooke's corporate and commercial team, led by partner Peter Jeffery, will once again be taking part in the regatta.
We're delighted to be supporting the Silicon Cup Regatta again this year. The event has built a fantastic reputation for bringing together professionals from across the technology sector. Alongside the networking and sailing, it also raises significant funds for some truly worthwhile causes, which aligns closely with our commitment as a responsible business to supporting our communities. We're looking forward to spending time with clients, contacts and fellow participants, and to another successful event both on and off the water.
