Gozde is an associate in the real estate, planning and construction team, advising lenders and borrowers on a broad range of secured property finance transactions. She has particular expertise in bridging finance, development finance and structured real estate matters, and regularly acts on both dual and single representation transactions.

Her practice includes complex acquisitions and time-sensitive refinancing arrangements, including the acquisition of SPV companies funded through bridging facilities and transactions structured to release equity through the redemption of existing security. She is experienced in conducting detailed due diligence, negotiating warranties and indemnities, and satisfying stringent lender conditions within compressed timeframes.

Gozde also advises private funds, institutional investors and high-net-worth individuals in relation to buy-to-let portfolios, mixed-use assets and more complex development and mezzanine funding structures. 

• Acted as lead solicitor on a 45-plot development site valued at £12 million which involved title splitting, transfer into an SPV structure, and the coordination of multiple bridging facilities across individual plots.
• Managed an urgent 48-hour bridging completion to keep development projects on schedule.
• Completed a £5.25 million bridging refinance within 11 days to redeem a high-interest charge.
